Our client is part of a highly regarded European
Listed Distribution and Logistics business that operates in over 30 countries
around the world.The business helps international suppliers of leading edge
products and equipment to expand their businesses in the ANZ region.

Reporting directly to the Country Manager ANZ, the
Financial Controller will have responsibility for ensuring the overall
effectiveness of the company’s Australian financial management function across
a range of different business units.

Successful applicants will need to demonstrate:

A proven track record in providing an
exceptional commercially orientated financial management service to a
rapidly changing supply chain type business.
The ability to develop and align financial
management processes and reporting structures that meet both local and
international business requirements.
Ability to partner with business unit general
managers to provide proactive, sound and commercially focused financial
management advice.
Proven ability to develop and manage budgets
and initiate proactive business analysis such as financial models,
costings and margin control.
A track record in effectively motivating,
managing and developing a financial management team of at least 6 people.
Excellent presentation, communication and
interpersonal skills.
Self motivated, self directed, resilient, and
comfortable working in a relatively autonomous environment.
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
together with good judgment and logical decision making abilities.
Advanced computing skills and working
knowledge of financial reporting packages such as SAP.
CA/CPA qualification is essential.
