  actively pursued lateral hires at the Partner levels in recent years, this
  large mid-tier with a national reach now competes highly favourably with
  most in the market.

  achieved the critical mass required, the CEO has now given a direction whereby
  the majority of Partners will be ‘home-grown’ from internal promotion

  line with this, a meritocratic model has been adopted allowing for REM
  packages and promotion to be based on performance rather than tenure etc
