The
Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) is the state’s peak body for lawyers. 
Representing more than 19,000 members the LIV’s purpose is to be the dynamic
leader and innovator of the legal profession; support and inform members; raise
the profile and standing of the legal profession; and advocate justice for all.
The
Web Developer is responsible for working collaboratively with our external web
agency and internal stakeholders to redevelop the LIV website; while ensuring
that the site, along with the LIV managed sites are optimised for effective
search engine referencing as well as user experience.
Key
outcomes of this role are:
  • Work
    with external web agencies, as well as internal stakeholders, to deliver
    on the website redevelopment project
  • Maintain
    content and usability across all LIV websites
  • Provide
    back-up support when required for the delivery of LawNews EDMs
  • Ensure
    website content pages are in line with the LIV brand
  • Provide
    meaningful reporting on website activity
The
successful candidate will have:
  • Minimum
    3 years commercial web development experience
  • Strong
    computer literacy, including advanced MS Office and experience in using
    the Kentico CMS
  • Sound
    Knowledge of Web Premium Adobe Software, SEO and Website Analytics such as
    Google Analytics
  • Solid
    understanding of usability best practices, creative design, copywriting
    for websites and email communication
  • Highly
    organised, with an ability to plan and cope with multiple tasks and
    rapidly changing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Ability
    to grasp new software systems, processes and procedures quickly
  • Ability
    to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
