In this role
La Trobe Learning and Teaching works in close collaboration with Colleges and
Schools to achieve strategic University goals in learning and teaching through
a range of services and programs across staff professional development, student
success and retention, curriculum development, student engagement, careers and
student learning. The Educational Experience team develops and coordinates the
provision of services, programs and activities designed to enhance and enrich
the University experience for our students.
The candidate
The Associate Director, Educational Experience will be responsible for
developing and managing a cross-functional team within LTLT and providing
University-wide leadership in the enrichment of the La Trobe student
experience. Collaboration with other central units and Colleges to deliver a
range of programs and activities to improve the student experience is an
important part of this role.
You will be passionate about student retention and regard our students’
experience as key to their success. You will also have a strong track record
managing, leading, motivating and developing staff. This will be paired with an
exemplary capacity for developing collaborative and effective working
relationships with key stakeholder groups and developing innovative solutions.
Candidates with experience in leading and managing cross-functional,
University-wide student focussed initiatives will be highly regarded.
