The position
In this role you will make significant
contributions to the teaching, leadership and research objectives of the
Faculty of Education, will contribute to the supervision of graduate and
doctoral students and will undertake administrative responsibilities
commensurate with the role. You will have a demonstrable capacity to conduct
and lead research, attract national and/or international grants, and have
demonstrated evidence of leadership in teaching and learning. This position is
based at the Melbourne (Bundoora) campus. The successful candidate will be
expected to undertake a role as Deputy Head of School.

The candidate
To succeed, you will possess:
- Record of leadership in postgraduate and
doctoral curriculum design and development Demonstrated experience in the
leadership, teaching and research in the areas of policy and leadership
studies, sociology, diversity studies, and/or further and higher
education. - Demonstrated experience in online teaching
development - Record of attracting honours/research students
and successful supervision - Significant record of nationally and/or
internationally recognised research and publications. Where relevant,
evidence of citations and journal rankings should be given. - Record of external competitive grant income
- A doctoral qualification in Education.
