are looking for a sales professional with a strong knowledge on control
instrumentation systems and data communications protocol who is willing to
travel to fill the role of Product Specialist.
Job Overview:
To increase qualified customer database for
targeted segments and following up on sales leads by providing fast response
towards fulfilling customers enquiries and securing new customers by
identifying specific needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment,
and services by managing projects and relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- To manage existing account and
consistently update sales pipelines - To qualify and update CRM databases
- To establish new accounts by identifying
potential customers - To support the sales manager in execution
of marketing campaigns, leads generation and management - To provide and present product and
technical information to potential and existing customers - To be responsible for actively driving and
managing new project pipelines - To provide technology evaluation stage of
sales process, working in conjunction with the technical support team - To interact with customers’ engineering
teams to illustrate value prepositions - To represent the products to customers at
field events such as conferences and seminars - To develop customer’s staff by providing
technical information and training - To conduct negotiation to secure a win-win
agreement with customers - To determine improvements by analysing
cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies or service applications - To prepare cost estimates by studying
blueprints, plans, and related customer documents - To gain customer acceptance by explaining
or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements - Maintain records of customer communication
and sales activity within the system
Job Requirements
- Degree in Any Discipline preferably in
Chemical / Chemical Engineering or Related Field - Able to read and communicate in English
- Minimum 2 years in Technical sales
environment - Self-starter with a proactive approach
- Understanding of sales & distribution
with intermediate project management skills - Willing to travel
- Strong interpersonal skills and
influencing ability - Good communication and friendly character
- Consistent worker and management of
project schedule - Possess valid driving licence
