Services including Assurance and Business Advisory Services, Feasibility
studies & Project Proposal Preparation, Recruitment and Training for
Businesses.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual for
our client in Kigali Rwanda.
JOB TITLE: Financial
Manager.
Reports to: Operations Head.
Job purpose: To
manage the Operating Expenditure Accounts Payable and Sales services functions
to ensure that liabilities/Sales Proceeds are fairly stated in accordance with
applicable local and international Accounting standards.
Qualifications,
Experience and Competencies required:
• A minimum of a Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Business Administration from
a recognized University or relevant discipline;
• Minimum of qualification in ACCA, CPA or CIMA is desirable;
• Student member of Accountancy body;
• Minimum of 7 years relevant working experience handling independently the
accounts for a large zone or small company;
• Knowledge of quick books is an added advantage;
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools;
• Adept user of accounting packages; Oracle ERP;
• Good financial management skills with knowledge of computer Accounting
Packages and good understanding of financial requirements and tax policies;
• Good Analytical Skills and Ability to work under minimum supervision;
• Self motivated with demonstrated ability to generate financial reports and
meet set deadlines with good integrity and confidentiality;
• Ability to maintain personal professional development and competencies on
financial issues;
• Business and financial acumen and;
• A team player with good interpersonal, communication and creative thinking
skills.
JOB
DESCRIPTION:
• Weekly/ Monthly reconciliation of regional petty cash float to Bank Statement
and GL balances on Oracle;
• Accurate and timely Finance reporting;
• Stock Inventory management in Finance reporting;
• Appropriate documentation and management of dealer credit applications;
• Accurate billing of customers transactions;
• Proper reconciliation of customers account, stock and MTU accounts.
• Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts,
commentaries and financial statements;
• Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning;
• Producing long-term business plans;
• Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting
performance;
• Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure and managing budgets;
• Developing and managing financial systems/models;
• Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments;
• Supervising staff; and
• Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues.
