Job Summary: The Bar& Restaurant Manager’s primary responsibility
is the operation of the Bar and Restaurant, providing warm and friendly
customer service that contributes to the overall customer experience as well as
adhering to, and promoting the responsible service of alcohol. The Bar &
Restaurant Manager will ensure a weekly stock take and order stock as
necessary.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Action bar &
restaurant sales upholding responsible service of alcohol and FoodPolicy
and guidelines with a high level of customer service; - Ensuring that
the business facilities are kept neat and safe at all times; - Ensure timely
replenishment and rotating stock; - Answering customer
enquiries; - Ensuring
compliance with food safety regulations; - Ensuring a
clean, tidy and healthy work area; - Accurately
recording hours worked on a daily basis; - Ensuring good
communication between day and night staff by accurately reporting on each
shift in accordance with requirements; - Quickly respond
to the needs of patrons, including diffusing and resolving disputes or
complaints and filling out incidence reports as and when necessary; - Attend briefing
and training sessions as required; - Ensuring that
cash transactions are handled in an efficient and safe manner; - Ensure
cleanliness and safe lock up of Bar and Venue at the end of each shift; - Provide
outstanding duty of care to patrons and act on Emergency Procedures
including the safe and efficient evacuation of patrons if required; - Ensure a safe
environment for patrons and uphold the OS&H policies and procedures
the bar and restaurant; - To act as a
Public Relations Officer of the bar and restaurant; and - Perform any
other duties as required in negotiation with the Directors;
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal
candidates should hold qualifications in Business Management; - Previous proven
work record in the Entertainment industry; - Previous bar
& Restaurant experience; - Working
knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience in the use of cash
registers; - Possess the
ability to work unsupervised at times as well as being able to work as
part of a team; - Punctuality;
- Friendliness and
enthusiasm; - Works well under
pressure - First Aid
Certification is desired - Art Lover.
