IT Support Analyst
We are currently recruiting for an IT Support
Analyst for our Burlington office.  This role would  provide a singe
point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the
organization’s computer system network environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support and problem resolution
of PC hardware and software issues for all end users
Record and maintain technical support requests in the help desk ticketing
system
Imaging and deployment of new desktop and mobile computer systems following
company defined standards
Set up and configure printers, scanners and other peripherals
Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions and access rights
Perform system backups and recovery
Basic network and server administration including Exchange, SQL, Citrix,
switches, anti-virus, web filters, wireless, voip phone system and video
conferencing system
Maintain an inventory listing of installed hardware, software and licenses
Documentation of technical procedures and configurations
Enforce computer and security policies
Monitor the file server using disk space management and reporting tools and
assist end users with data archival
Participate in project related work including hardware roll-outs and software upgrades
Work with IT vendors and consultants to schedule installs, upgrades and
troubleshoot system problems
Qualifications:
1 to 2 years Desktop Support or Help Desk
experience
Post Secondary education in Computing and Information Technology
Strong technical skills and understanding of IT infrastructure
Knowledge of WAN, LAN, VPN, Windows Active Directory, Citrix, Exchange, SQL,
Virtualization and SAN’s
Customer service-oriented and proactive in resolving problems
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
Experience with Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Symantec, HP and Dell preferred
