Kobil Petroleum
Rwanda is a fully-owned subsidiary of the Kenya’s Kenol Kobil Group and is the
leading Oil Company in Rwanda. It has the following senior vacant position in
its finance department which is open to East Africans.
FINANCE
MANAGER
Reporting directly
to the Country manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following
tasks:
- Take
control of the day to day running of the Finance Team - Help in
monthly closing process, review of the intercompany accounts and all the
sub Iedger/General Leger reconciliations - Preparation
of the monthly management reports and board packs to ensure timely
decision making; - Manage
day to day relationship with the banks and preparing daily cash balance
report. - Ensure
optimum and effective working capital management - Acts as
chief liaison with external auditors, banks, Tax authorities and other
external Advisors. - Preparation
of budgets, product Costing, forecasts and cash flow; - Preparation
of the draft annual statutory accounts.
EDUCATION
& EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- A
University degree in business or economics (Bachelor of Commerce-Finance
or Accounting options, - Professional
qualifications with CPAorACCA - Sound
knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting Systems and
advanced computer skills Level - Analytical
thinking and strong financial analysis skills - Minimum
of five years experience in finance or audit department of a large
organisation with last two in senior management position with
responsibility in strategy formulation - Experience
in an Oil industry is not a must but an added advantage - Minimum
of five years in management accounting and financial control - Excellent
communications, report writing skills and interpersonal capacity - Good
understanding of macroeconomic and external factors affecting business - Committed
and willing to work long hours - High
work ethics to maintain integrity and image of the company. - Results
oriented and energetic, ready to lead, coach and mentor a young and
dynamic team
