Lead Piping Engineer

Responsibilities:
Reporting to Project Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of Piping Engineers to ensure that all project engineering activities relating to interconnecting pipings are well planned, coordinated and managed.
You will check and review ITB documents, make clarification/deviation lists of ITB documents, prepare piping stress analysis procedure, analyze piping stresses for critical lines using CAESAR II etc, to realize stable piping systems, instruct and/or review piping loading data to other disciplines, prepare specifications for piping mechanical supports, such as bellows, spring & snubber, etc., prepare supports package including special supports design, prepare piping stress analysis reports, check and review vendor documents for piping mechanical supports.
You will coordinate subordinates, such as junior piping stress analysis engineers and coordinate and/or negotiate with clients, vendors and other discipline engineers
Requirements:
You would have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and about 10 years’ experience in piping engineering at the construction site for power plant or oil and gas plants.
Good knowledge in Local and International Engineering Standards, Codes and Regulations
You would have excellent communication and presentation skills including capability to analyse, influence and articulate effectively. You are mobile and willing to be stationed overseas when required
