Kinyara Sugar Limited invites applications from both female and male candidates
for Apprenticeship training, leading to City & Guilds Diploma
qualifications in any one of the four different Engineering Trades, namely:
Factory electricians/Instrumentation
Fabrication and Welding
Machining and Fitting
Plant maintenance
Automotive mechanics
Apprenticeship program The Apprenticeship program lasts three years. Candidates
who successfully pass the interviews will initially be offered a one year
contract. This contract will be renewed annually if the Apprentice successfully
completes the year.
Qualification Requirements
- Each
applicant should fulfill the following minimum requirements: - Must
have sat O — LEVEL NOT MORE THAN THREE YEARS AGO at the time of applying and
must have obtained a minimum of CREDIT PASSES in ENGLISH LANGUAGE,
MATHEMATICS and PHYSICS or PHYSICAL SCIENCE - Must
be NOT MORE THAN 22 YEARS at the time of applying - Candidates
who have good passes in TECHNICAL DRAWING at O or A Level or in MATHEMATICS/PHYSICS
at A Level will have an added advantage.
Candidates who have certificate or Diploma qualifications in any Engineering
trade should not apply.
The selected candidates will have to pay Ug.shs 600,000 per ‘year as Training
fees.
