The Role:
kgbdeals is now looking for a commercially minded candidate, ideally with expertise in the daily deals business, to lead its new business in Spain.
• The Commercial Director will be a key member of the European senior management team and will drive all commercial and sales strategies for kgbdeals in Spain.
• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing both sales and operational teams with respect to strategy development, operational delivery and achieving commercial goals including managing a P&L and with multiple B2B sales channels.
• Experience of setting strategy and achieving commercial revenue goals is essential in the context of B2B or B2C (or both) environments.
• The successful candidate will be at the centre of developing new commercial strategies and implementing them to make kgbdeals Spain a leading player in the daily deals sector.
• The remit will be to lead from the front, inspiring the team to deliver a robust expansion of revenues and margins and creating new opportunities for growth along the way.

The Candidate:
• You will be either an astute Commercial Director with experience gained within an internet/social media, e-commerce or similar company with a driven, fast moving culture or an MBA trained investment banker with extensive knowledge of the daily-deals or e-commerce space.
• He/she will build and manage effective relationships with key contacts at all levels and create tailored, technology driven customer-focused solutions to provide exemplary products and services to clients.
• Experience of leading a brand-extension to new product lines would be an advantage, as would experience building highly profitable digital delivery channels for products and marketing.
• A self-motivated team player that can deliver demanding targets with minimal supervision and is unfazed by ambiguity.
• Though not a prerequisite, experience of managing consumer brands and related marketing campaigns and strategy would also be highly beneficial.
• A dynamic, self starter with a track record in leading sales and operations teams in an extremely fast-paced environment with the ability to recruit, manage and motivate staff.
