Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, has
recently won extensive work across NSW delivering rail traction substation
design for the local government. Following recent project wins, they are now
seeking to recruit Senior and Principal Design Engineers on contract to assist
in the delivery of current projects and liaise with client contacts to maintain
relationships.

in the delivery of current projects and liaise with client contacts to maintain
relationships.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design of rail projects across
NSW (PCU/Traction Substation Design) - Manage design packages
- Liaise with client contacts to ensure
successful delivery - Mentor more junior engineers within the team
on right practice to delivery electrical design works for TSNSW
Experience & Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical
Engineering or equivalent - Five or more years experience in electrical
design of traction substations in the Australian market - Experience gained within the UK market would
also be considered (e.g. Network Rail) - Strong knowledge and technical capability to
lead design packages - Experience gained within an engineering
consultancy business or government agency would be highly regarded - Excellent communication skills
