Network of 11 branches across Rwanda, spreading our network across the width

our 266 KCB lwacu agents which will position us to offer banking services to
every individual and business in Rwanda and the region at an affordable cost

We are looking for self-motivated, qualified Rwandan
professionals, with the right attitude and a passion for the customer to join
our team on the following position:
1. MANAGER, CREDIT ANALYSIS (MLC)-KCBR JOB REF: KCBR
MCA 11/2014
Reporting to Head of Credit, the Credit Analysis
Manager will be responsible to manage lending risk for KCB bank Rwanda, through
credit analysis. In accordance with the Bank’s lending policies, BNR Prudential
Guidelines and best practice to achieve quality growth in the asset book In
line with the strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities




·        
Monitoring the granting of Retail, SME & Corporate
loans and advances;




·        
Monitoring the performance of the Retail, SME & Corporate
credit portfolio to ensure that approval conditions are complied with;




·        
Custodian of the Credit Policies and BNR Regulations;




·        
Ensuring that management reports on Retail, SME &
Corporate credits are accurate and produced on time; Monitoring market
developments to ensure that the credit policy is constantly revised to meet
market requirements;




·        
Ensuring that risks associated with all Retail, SME
& Corporate products are identified and adequately mitigated; to ensure the
quality of the Bank’s loan portfolio and comply with regulatory requirements.




·        
Providing support to Branch Managers and the Business
team to ensure that customer queries are adequately responded to;




·        
To supervise the Retail, SME & Corporate credit
analysis team.




·        
Review portfolio performance — early vintage




·        
Monitor the Credit TAT(Turn Around Time)
Daily Responsibilities




·        
Appraisal of retail credit applications




·        
Supervision and Management of retail, SME and
corporate credit team




·        
Attend required meetings




·        
Any other tasks which may be required by the
management
Minimum position requirements
For the above position, the applicant should have




·        
Holder of a First Degree from a recognized University
majoring preferably in Management, Economics or any Business related option.




·        
Possession of a Master’s Degree in Business
Administration and other professional banking qualifications will be an added
advantage.




·        
At least 5 years working experience in Credit
department with at least 3 years of current experience in leading the credit
team.




·        
Have a working knowledge of advanced spread sheet
analysis.




·        
And should have strong leadership skills with
demonstrated competences in championing customer focus, and in managing people
in a multi- cultural environment.
2. MANAGER, RECOVERIES (MLC)-KCBR JOB REF: KCBR MR
11/2014
Reporting to Head of Credit, Manager Recoveries will
be responsible to Formulate and implement the Collections function strategy in
achieving the required recovery target; to manage, identify, review and recover
or restructure/restore to performance non-performing debts and make appropriate
recommendations to avoid such situations arising in the future.

Key Responsibilities




·        
Formulate and implement the Collections function
strategy in achieving the required recovery target.




·        
To recover or restore to performing the greatest
amounts of non-performing debts, at the shortest time possible and at least
cost;




·        
To enhance the Bank’s overall image through improved
relations with bad debtors and ensure customers are satisfied through timely
responses to issues;




·        
Give recommendations to line management on issues of
debt recovery including disposal of securities, litigation, legal, final
settlement etc;




·        
Ensure costs are reduced through management of service
providers and economic use of utilities;




·        
Custodian of the Non Performing Debt Policy and BNR
Regulations




·        
Make recommendations on restructuring of debts, full
and final settlement requests, write offs and write-downs;




·        
To review of debtors files, feedback of clients
visits, monthly performance in order to reduce NPL Portfolio




·        
Partnership with legal unit and lawyers for efficient
and effective resolution of matters in court.




·        
Close monitoring of the recovery plan




·        
Ensuring the accuracy of Non-Performing Loans
provisioning & grading on monthly basis




·        
Ensuring that restructured loans are graded in
accordance with BNR regulations




·        
Ensuring that a Critical Asset Committee is held with
all recovery officers once a month.
Daily Responsibilities




·        
Close follow up of the Recovery Plan and weekly
recovery plan for recovery officers




·        
Collect information of the defaulting customers from
various channels




·        
Negotiating with customers to express their
willingness to repay and propose different alternative to get solutions.




·        
Monitoring of NPL Portfolio and recommending
restructuring if necessary




·        
Participation in the auction of the bank’s securities




·        
Follow up on the achievement of the files sent to
collection agencies & Bank Lawyers




·        
Any other tasks which may be required by the
management
Minimum position requirements

3. MANAGER, CREDIT ADMINISTRATION (MLC)-KCBR JOB REF:
KCBR CAM 11/2014
Reporting to Head of Credit, Manager Credit
Administration will be responsible to overseeing the entire Credit
Administration function of the bank through enhancing robust credit
administration processes thus minimizing losses as well as ensuring better
customer service through faster Turnaround Time (TAT).

Key Responsibilities




·        
Ensure that all lending Documentation and conditions
are fulfilled before any disbursement of the Loan,




·        
Ensure the loan disbursement is in compliance with the
disbursement procedure




·        
Ensure that all bank fees are collected, prompt
payment of any other fees such as legal fees, negotiation fees, and insurance
premiums.




·        
To be Responsible for Approval from relevant
authorities is held for deferral / waiver of incomplete documents




·        
To ensure compliance with the TAT of loan –
disbursements, amendments and Takeovers




·        
Properly generate, review and maintain loan credit
reports for presentation to the Head of Credit, and provide monthly reports on
the same, in accordance to the credit policy and guidelines.




·        
Review daily system credit monitoring and management
reports and identify non performing accounts with irregularities and
proactively follow-up to ensure corrective action taken in line with credit
policy.




·        
To Monitor all irregularities, past dues,
documentation deficiencies, maturity of securities, etc., and report to
Business units on a monthly basis




·        
Control the recording, deposit and withdrawal of the
credit files and documentations
Daily Responsibilities




·        
To lead, organize and coordinate the team tasks and
assignments related to credit administration




·        
To authorize the disbursement of new facilities




·        
To provide feedback to the different Business units
for all enquiries relating the Loan portfolio




·        
To tackle irregularities and advise on remedial
actions




·        
To liaise with KCBK credit administration unit for all
matters relating to Loan booking




·        
Any other tasks which may be required by the
management
Minimum position requirements
