Kamuzu
College of Nursing in partnership with Save the Children, Malawi as a lead
institution and in collaboration with the Ministry of Health’s
Reproductive Health Unit, Banja La Mtsogolo and Christian Healthcare
Association of Malawi is implementing a Project entitled “Comprehensive
Sexuality Education and Family Planning for Protection and Empowerment
of Adolescents and Women in Malawi.” This is a three year project,
2015-2018, which will be impl

emented in the hard to reach areas of Neno,
Mwanza, Ntchisi, Nkhata bay and Rumphi districts. The project is funded by
the European Union through Save the Children Italy. Kamuzu College of
Nursing is therefore seeking the services of a Driver as follows:

of project funds and satisfactory performance.

Responsibilities:
·        
Driving
Project vehicles, including transporting Staff and other personnel throughout
the Country
·        
Maintaining
motor vehicle log books through the recordings of mileage covered, fuel consumption,
oils and lubricants used for a particular vehicle on a particular period.
·        
Be
responsible for routine vehicle checks and maintenance
·        
Maintaining
a monthly monitoring template for vehicle usage
·        
Cleaning
the vehicles
·        
Reporting
faults identified on motor vehicles needing repairs, servicing or maintenance
as and when necessary
Qualifications:
·        
Applicants
must have Malawi Schools Certificate of Education (MSCE);
·        
clean PSV
Driving Licence;
·        
at least
3 years’ experience in a busy institution and a Defensive driving certificate.
