REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS
PURPOSE: SUPPLY OF 30, 40, AND 50KVA DIESEL GENERATOR
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: 10 JANUARY 2020

The JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY CENTRE FOR COMMUNICATION PROGRAMS (JHUCCP), Baltimore USA, has received USAID funding, under the Breakthrough ACTION Nigeria (BA-N) project, to implement health promotion and social and behaviour change interventions in Nigeria from 2018-2022. This project works with the Federal and State Ministries of Health to build their capacity in social and behaviour change communication leadership and implement cutting-edge social and behavioural interventions to improve the health and well-being of Nigerians across a broad array of health issues, including Maternal, Neonatal, Child Health and Nutrition (MNCH+N), Family Planning, Malaria and Tuberculosis. We work in 11 states and Abuja FCT, spanning each of the major geographical zones in the country.

PURPOSE & SPECIFICATIONS
BAN seeks to invite eligible and interested vendors who are legally registered in Nigeria to submit bids for the supply, installation and maintenance of 2 Diesel Generators.

All bids should contain the following;
• Name/brand, specification, model, picture and price for the products they intend to supply.
• Validity period of bid. All bids must remain valid for a period of ninety (90) days
• Payment terms
• Delivery lead time
• All products must be brand new. Warranty and repair/maintenance plan must be stated clearly for all locations. Provide details of service centres in Bauchi and Plateau state.
• All quotes must be submitted in Naira.

ELIGIBILITY OF BIDDERS
All bidders must show their eligibility to participate in this procurement by providing copies of the following documents.
• Legal Certificate of Incorporation in Nigeria
• Tax Identification Certification
• Company Profile; with verifiable business address, valid email with telephone numbers and point of contact for the organization.
• Evidence of authorized partnership, dealership or distributorship certificate as applicable
• Evidence of past performance on similar procurement with reputable organizations. Include reference contact. At least 3 Reference contact (name, telephone, Organization).
• Bidders will be assessed on all eligibility requirements.
Criteria for Selection
• Ability to provide requested items that meet specifications including ability to provide warranty and maintenance service in Bauchi and Plateau States.
• Evidence of authorized dealership of products quoted.
• Delivery lead time.
• Evidence of past performance on similar service. Provide list of clients/organizations.
• Price

SUBMISSION OF QUOTES – Each vendor responding to this RFQ should send their quotes via email to batenders@ba-nigeria.org on or before the 10 January 2020. All quotations must be on the company’s official letter head and quotations must be duly signed. Please ensure that quotations capture all the requirements for selection. Any emails received without following the submission instructions will be disqualified. Quotations should be addressed to;

PAYMENT TERMS
Please state your payment terms while quoting. BA-N’s preferred term is full payment after receipt of services, when all invoices have been received and certification of services.
BA-N is VAT exempt, so please do not include VAT fees when quoting. Withholding Tax will be deducted at the applicable rate to be remitted to the Tax Authority in compliance with laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

NOTE
BA-N reserves the right to consider any quotations received before and after the end of the deadline. Any deviation from the specifications contained in the RFQ will lead to the vendor’s DISQUALIFICATION.
