Family and Community Services (FACS) is offering two 4th year Social Work
students at Charles Sturt University (CSU) the opportunity to become part of
our team of Caseworkers in Western NSW. Start working whilst completing your
degree and we will pay your final year’s HECS bill!

a Child Protection Caseworker you will be working with vulnerable children and
young people who are at risk of abuse and neglect, communities, interagency

Interns
will be located in FACS Coonamble and Bourke clusters and be bonded for 3 years
full time employment as a Caseworker.

be eligible to apply for this internship you must be enrolled in 4th year of
Social Work or have negotiated a transfer to CSU in 2015. For assistance with

As
a Caseworker in Western NSW you will be required to live and work in
regional/remote locations which can be both challenging and rewarding. Using
your experience and knowledge of these communities, please identify what you

Child Protection (Working with Children ) Act 2012, requires persons engaged in
children related work to have  Working with Children clearances. If
successful in this role you will be required to provide a Working with Children
Check clearance number prior to commencing in the role.
