One of the largest and most successful development teams in the UK is looking for a Junior surveyor / site finder to join the company. They generate power from renewable technologies such as wind farms and CHP plants, and work alongside landowners to take projects from inception to completion, handling all aspects of the planning and delivery process.
Alongside the Business Development Manager you will be assisting in sourcing new sites for renewable energy projects, conducting financial appraisals and developing commercial strategies to report on risk Vs opportunity.
Ideally you will have either an estates management background, or have experience in site finding & selection along with qualifications in the planning & development field.
You will be dealing with landowners, stakeholders, members of the public etc so you should be confident in public speaking. You will be given a company car as there will be travel to sites involved in the role, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
