Responsibilities:
• Sales of residential solar PV microFIT systems
• Closing deals and signing contracts
• Conducting site evaluations for potential customers, rough system design
• Estimating cost and pricing systems
• Analysis of customers current and projected electrical usage, and financial return on investment
• Negotiating contracts
• Communicating with project manager regarding system design
• Logging all communications with customers in contact database
Our ideal candidate will possess:
• Experience with grid-tied solar electric installation, design, or sales
• Strong math and computer skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience in technical sales
• Understanding of general construction
• Understanding of electricity and electrical contracting
• Desire to stay on the leading edge of the solar industry
• Ability to read, understand, and edit proposals
