TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
• To carry out “voice of customer” research work to understand customers’ need.
• To demonstrate process / product features and benefits, and offer solutions to customers.
• To manage welding process conversion implementation matters.
• To maintain relationship with key existing customers and develop business relationship with prospective end-users.
• To develop / implement comprehensive actions plans to aggressively grow business within existing and / or prospective customers.
• To make economic justification, presentation on total cost, and productivity improvement at mid to senior management level.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor degree in Welding, Metallurgical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent with between 3 to 7 years of related work experience in offshore platform fabrication yard or heavy steel fabrication.
• Must have a good understanding of different welding processes.
• Comprehensive understanding of issues and trends affecting Offshore Platform fabrication welding industrial sector.
• Possess good presentation skill and excellent analytical skill.
• Able to communicate well in both written and oral English with Mandarin Chinese a plus.
• Frequent travel is required.
• Must be flexible and willing to perform various functions in a sales and marketing organization.
• Must be a team player, highly motivated, professional and be able to think “out of the box”.
• Preferably Singaporeans / Singapore Permanent Residents need to apply.
