JOB TITLE: AIRFREIGHT SALES EXECUTIVE

Position Description:

Our Client, a regional company with offices operating in fourteen cities in
Tanzania dealing with Logistics and major Industrial Projects is currently
looking for an Airfreight Sales Executive to manage its Company in Tanzania.
The incumbent will be based in Dar es Salaam.

JOB TITLE: AIRFREIGHT SALES EXECUTIVE

REPORT TO: COMMERCIAL MANAGER

DEPARTMENT: COMMERCIAL

LOCATION: DAR-ES-SALAAM

OBJECTIVE

The Sales Representative will be responsible for securing new accounts and
developing old accounts through effective prospecting, client relationship
development and meeting required financial targets

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Sourcing new business and visiting potential customers to secure new
accounts

· Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers to develop
further business

· Follow up on sales leads locally

· Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future
prospects

· Prepare weekly reports on sales calls, client visits and monthly reports on
monthly prospects

· Identify new markets and business opportunities

· Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the management

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Diploma in Marketing Management or
equivalent

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

N/A

EXPERIENCE

· At least 3 years relevant experience

SKILLS

· Must be computer literate

· Possess good knowledge of Clearing and Forwarding

· The ability and desire to sell

· Resilient and ability to cope with rejection

· A high degree of self-motivation and drive

· Must be organised and meticulous

· Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

· Honest and possessing a high level of integrity

· Must be diplomatic and able to build effective in client relations
