is seeking an ambitious Human Resources Manager with a strong background in
professional development and a proven ability to build systems and procedures.
The successful candidate is a self-starter that will be responsible for all
functions in the HR department, including hiring, training, and the maintenance
of employee records. Additionally, the Human Resources Manager will help to
nurture a culture of high performance that respects accountability,
risk-taking, creativity, and data-driven decision-making.

Human Resources Manager will report to the CEO and work closely with the senior
management team to administer HR initiatives that are in line with Inyenyeri’s
strategic priorities and core values.

- Establish
and manage a recruitment and onboarding system to keep pace with staffing
needs. - Introduce
research-backed best practices related to salary and benefits into
Inyenyeri’s compensation packages. - Implement
and maintain a robust employee training and professional development
program. - Create
a performance management system and help deploy it across the organization. - Document,
codify, and act as chief evangelist for Inyenyeri’s corporate culture. - Facilitate
successful communication across all levels of organization. - Maintain,
update, and apply human resource policies and procedures that are
consistent with Inyenyeri’s core values and Rwandan national labor laws. - Resolve
employment issues and disputes based on established policies, procedures,
best practices, and consistent with Inyenyeri’s core value and Rwandan
national labor laws. - Support
the senior management team by providing human resources advice, counsel,
and decisions, including helping to establish job descriptions, career
paths, compensation guidelines, and promotion/raise/bonus guidelines. - Develop
and manage human resources team as growth requires.

- Degree
in Business, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior or similar
field. BA/BS required, MA/MS preferred. - 5+
years of experience in Human Resources department of for-profit
organization. - 2+
years of management experience - Experience
working in multinational office environments preferred - Strong
communication and interpersonal skills - Spoken
and written fluency in Kinyarwanda and English - Familiarity
with Rwandan Labor Laws - Proficiency
using Microsoft Office and Google Apps such as Gmail and Google Drive - Highly
organized and efficient in time management - Ambition
to grow professionally in fast-moving work environment
