JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:
1. Operations: Responsible for overall running of emergency GBV base office. Working closely with GBV manager to meet their operational and logistics needs.
2. Logistics: Responsible for ensuring vehicles, generator and other equipment are maintained to a high standard and fuel consumption is monitored and procured in a timely manner. Responsible for coordination of vehicle roster and weekly planning.
3. Financial: Day to day management of operational GBV budget including tracking of purchase requests and regular reporting to GBV manager.
4. Human Resources: oversight of emergency GBV program staff contracts and ensuring processing of monthly payroll information, to ensure all staff are paid in a timely manner.
5. Management: Direct supervision of operations team including, logistics operations and finance officer and oversight of domestic staff, security staff, warehouse officer and drivers.
6. Communications: Responsible for ensuring staff are able to access communications systems necessary for daily work and program implementation and for communication system maintenance (radios, sat phones, internet, phones etc)
7. Safety and Security: Responsible for operational emergency GBV and safety issues for the emergency offices.
8. Problem solving: Take initiative to ensure operational issues are addressed immediately, including daily problem solving and trouble shooting.

JOB REQUIREMENT:
Qualifications/ Experience:
1. Fully qualified professional with a minimum 3-years track record in achieving strong results related to program support
2. Strong managerial skills and ability to motivate and inspire team to achieve superior standard in all aspects of program support and operations management.
3. Demonstrated experience in working effectively with program staff, planning and delivering timely support application of INGO security and internal procedures.
4. Experience working with INGOs, international organizations or private businesses in achieving results related to office/support management. Experience in Emergency context is preferable.
5. Comfortable representing the organization with external stakeholders, strong computer and communication skills.
6. Resilience, record of performance in high –pressure work environments and ability to problem solve without immediate supervision.
7. Ability to take initiative, solve problems and achieve results
8. Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
