establishing resettlement processing centre make kasulu district in Kigoma
region and the project include constructions of 20 buildings office buildings,
medical buildings clinic waiting shelters int
erview rooms training rooms toilet
and constructions of infrastructure facilities including roads, water supply
and sewage, drainage security wall electrical supply and data cabling networks

POSITIONS
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Working in accordance with the overall directives of the head of the sub and
under the direct supervision of the constructions manager the staff will be
responsible and accountable to oversee the constructions activities of
resettlement of processing centre. The main responsibilities of the specialist
include the following activities
– Provide overall assistance to constructions manager for the satisfactory
implementation of the project
– Ensure that the constructions work are carried according to the BOQS drawing
and specifications provided by IOM and while assuring the quality work
– Giving necessary instructions to the contractor or his representative for the
satisfactory implementation of the work
– Recording measurements and ascertain progress of work, analyze the work
program and take necessary measurement to keep the project component on track
– Perform other duties as may be assigned by the constructions manager
QUALIFICATIONS
o BSC degree in CIVL Engineering , knowledge and training in local engineering
concept and field constructions methodology or equivalent combination of the
education, training and experience
o At least 5 years experience in the constructions or related field work in the
humanitarian an advantage
o Ability to work with minimum supervision excellent knowledge of English and
Swahili fluency in Language is an asset proficiency in auto CAD, MS WORLD AND
EXEL WILL be an added advantage
