Required
Qualifications/Experience
• The candidate should have a Certificate/Class C or above and valid driving
permit.
• At least 1 year experience in agricultural practices.
• Flexibility, reliability and honesty.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• The ability to work independently and as a team member

Information
The initial contract for the position is for two years: renewable subject to
performance and availability of funds. The duty station for the position will
be IITA- in Arusha at the Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science &
Technology (NMAIST) in Kijenge. This is a nationally recruited position and
IITA offers a competitive remuneration package.
