University offers academic scholarships for international students. The
scholarships are offered as a
reduction in the tuition fees for the first year of study. These scholarships
are for international students with high grades joining full-time courses at
the university from September 2013/14 academic year onwards. Applicants must be
self-funded. The deadline for applications for the 2013 Semester 1 intake is
31st July 2013 and the deadline for Semester 2 entry is 2nd December 2013.

Northumbria University has launched an academic scholarship scheme to reward
outstanding academic achievement. The scholarships are for international
students with high grades joining full-time courses at the University from
September 2013/14 academic year onwards.

What does it
cover?
 If students have achieved
very good grades in your highest previous academic qualifications you may be
eligible for a scholarship of either £2000 or £1500, depending
on the grade you achieved. The scholarships are offered as a reduction in the tuition fees for the
first year of study and they apply to all full-time programmes starting from Bachelor degree
courses (from level 4), postgraduate courses, and a research degree programmes.

 Each
student will be considered for a scholarship based on a range of factors
including overall grades and individual subject grades, the level of the
qualification, and the type of institution at which they studied.
