Institute of Environmental Science and Technology at the Universitat Autònoma
de Barcelona (ICTA-UAB) offers a scholarship to candidates who would like to
pursue their Ph.D. degree at ICTA within ‘María de Maeztu’ Excelence programme.

excellent oral and written English skills. We invite candidates with a
background in environmental, earth and life sciences, chemistry, biology,
geography or the social sciences, including sociology, anthropology, political
science, economics and psychology. A passion for exploring interdisciplinary
topics is required, as projects will encompass multidisciplinary teams with
expertise in the natural sciences, technology studies and/or social sciences.
Successful candidates must hold a master’s degree or equivalent at the time of

This is a 3 year fellowship with an annual evaluation. The gross salary will be
of 16.422€ per year. This means a monthly gross salary of 1.368,50€ (12
