- Savelugu-Nanton,
Kumbungu, and Tolon in the Northern region; - Talensi,
Kassena-Nankana Municipal, and Nabdam in the Upper East region; - Kintampo
North, Wenchi Municipal, Techiman Municipal, and Techiman North in the
Brong-Ahafo region; - Offinso North,
Offinso Municipal, Afigya Kwabre, and Sekyere South in the Ashanti region
Overall objective of job
To plan, direct and coordinate work with project participating households so as
to ensure that specific project interventions are moving in the right direction
and resources are applied in a judicious and accountable manner. The Field
Assistant will perform the duties mentioned below and report to the Project
Coordinator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
- Provide weekly
coaching services to households within the designated project operational
area. - Provide
technical backstopping and supervision to all the project households
within the designated operational area so as to ensure that all planned
activities are undertaken in a timely and impactful manner. - Track project
performance indicators and provide the relevant and essential input for
addressing any challenges that may affect progression towards the project
objectives. - Work with the
designated Project Coordinator to plan and execute the yearly calendar of
activities, in line with established organizational procedures and
objectives. - Document
project outcomes, best practices and lessons learned for sharing with
stakeholders. - Prepare and
submit periodic reports (as may be required by a supervisor) on all the
household project activities and related matters in a timely manner. - Carry out or
liaise with other project staff to provide capacity development trainings
to the project beneficiary households. - Carry out any
other duties that may be assigned to you by the designated Project
Coordinator.

Required Skills or Experience
Education:
B.Sc. degree or equivalent in Agriculture, Animal Science, Social Science,
Rural Development or Veterinary Science.

Experience:
- A minimum of 2
years’ practical experience in rural development work - Computer
literate in MS Excel and MS Word. - Ability to
ride a motor bike in rough and challenging terrains.
