Industrial and Employee Relations Consultant Job Vacancy in Papua New Guinea

The Economic and Public Sector Program (EPSP) is an Australian Government, AusAID initiative, a partnership between the Governments of Australia and Papua New Guinea. The goal of EPSP is to provide an effective and efficient public service that focuses on service delivery for the men, women and children of PNG. The program also aims to create an enabling environment for broad-based economic growth.

EPSP, on behalf of the Department of Personnel Management (DPM) is seeking an Industrial and Employee Relations Consultant primarily to support the division to review and update its industrial relations policies and processes to meet GoPNG and client service needs. This role will also support the DPM Executive team to develop and implement an industrial relations training program for staff within the Industrial and Employee Relations Division.

With a consultative approach, it is essential you possess previous practical senior level industrial relations experience, preferably from within the public sector. A demonstrated understanding and knowledge of industrial relation principles and their application to organisations in developing countries will be highly regarded.

The Adviser Remuneration Framework (ARF) applies. This position is classified as discipline B, level 4.
