IMD Jim Ellert MBA Scholarship for Students from Africa, Central & Eastern Europe in Switzerland

IMD is offering one full time need based MBA
scholarship in Switzerland. Students of Africa, Central and Eastern Europe
(including all former Soviet republics) and the South-Eastern Asian Peninsula
are eligible for applying this scholarship. Student must have applied for MBA
program at IMD. Preference is given to women applicants. Scholarship selection
criteria is based on merit and essay. Applications will be submitted online and
all other supporting documents by email. The deadline for applications is
September 30, 2013.

scholarship.
Scholarship Description: Applicants must have been accepted into the IMD MBA program prior to
their application. Our scholarship applications are essay based, with winning
essays typically including the following features: Relevance to the essay title
Organization and structure Fully developed arguments Persuasiveness Personal
element and/or passion IMD reserves the right not to award a scholarship if the
criteria are not met to the satisfaction of the jury/sponsors.
Number of award(s): One scholarship is offered.
What does it cover? MBA scholarship covers CHF 20,000.
Selection Criteria: 1) Acceptance into the IMD MBA Program 2) Submitting an essay on: ‘Why
I would like to do an MBA at IMD’ (maximum 500 words) Candidates will also be
considered on the basis of merit as per the quality of their admission
application.
