DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be part of an in house legal team responsible
for advising the Company and its subsidiaries on its legal rights and
obligations as well as statutory and regulatory matters - Assist in the selection, coordination and
management of external counsel for the Group - Formulate legal opinions and any risk analysis
required in connection with legal, regulatory and dispute matters; - Draft, review, negotiate and advise on all corporate,
contractual and other documentation for the Group including with vendors,
suppliers, lenders and other counterparties; - Assist with any required company secretariat
affairs - Assist with establishing and implementing
policies and controls to insure all legal, regulatory, environmental and
contractual compliance; and - People management- recruitment and maintaining
suitable staff structures and head count management - Build and maintain strong communication
channels with HIS current and potential customers both internally and
externally. - Compliance-Ensure full compliance with and
adherence to local laws and regulations as well as policies, regulation
and directives of HIS.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree/Master in Law
- Over 5years experience advising on contracts
and regulatory matters - M&A and corporate finance experience is
also a prerequisite
