Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
Proffer legal option on matters referred by the Company
Provide legal and secretariat services to Company and the Board
Manage the Company’s debt recovery portfolio
Manage external law firms and other key stakeholder relationships
Handle General correspondence referred to the Company
Prepare all legal documents e.g. tenancies, leases, contracts, mortgages etc

Required Skills or Experience
Degree in Law (LLB) and Bachelor of Law – Additional degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics or related field would be an advantage
Minimum 4 years practical corporate law experience – Prior experience in the legal department of a Bank or Non bank Financial Institution would be an advantage
Good court room experience
Experience in Land/Property Law
