Position Description:

Ifakara Health Institute is among the leading health research institutes in
Africa has the following vacant positions an exceptional individual to lead
and implement the renewal of IT systems throughout the organization to meet
the standards of excellence required of a world-class research institute. And
exceptional individuals to strengthen the Finance & Accounts department
to meet standards of excellence required of a world-class research institute
and as part of defined succession plan to systematically replace, in the
coming years, several Principal Accountants’ positions including the post of
Chief Financial Officer.

Senior Accountant Is expected to be a self motivated person and able to lead
one or several accounting unit teams and to coach, guide and train young
assistant accountants in their professional career development. The
successful candidate will combine deep accounting skills with proven
leadership and management experience.
