Iceberg Recruitment Structural Engineer Job Vacancy in Australia

Our client is a very successful mid-tier
engineering consultancy, working from Sydney’s inner west they are starting to
build their engineering team to accommodate work being won from in the busy
medium density residential sector. The consultancy is medium sized with a busy
yet close and friendly team.

They cover several areas of engineering including civil, infrastructure and
building – however at this moment in time it is the building structures team
which is looking to grow.
The Role

The company is looking to recruit for an experienced Post Tension Design
Engineering, ideally with local experience working on design for high-rise
structures. To be suitable for the role you must

:

  • Have experience on high-rise buildings between
    5 and 10 stories minimum
  • competent working with Ram Concept
  • Have significant experience working with
    reinforced concrete structures
  • Be able to work with CAD to amend and update
    designs when necessary
  • Be able to deliver jobs form tendering to shop
    drawing
  • Be competent working on such designs with
    minimum of supervision
  • Have at least 5+ years working for a local
    Sydney consultancy in such a capacity
 
In return you can expect to work for a busy and vibrant consultancy which is
enjoying some strategic growth and looking for Engineers who want to be a key
part of this process. Due to the size of the practice you will be able to get
hands on experience in the field, within business development and face to face
with clients. You will be across all aspects of projects and the design
process, with the support of more senior engineers.

Salary is competitive to $60-70k + with regular reviews, and other benefits.
