Iceberg Recruitment Estimating Assistant Job Vacancy in Australia

Our client is a very professional mid-tier civil
contractor in the QLD market who has enjoyed a sustained period of growth over
the past few years, managing to buck the trend and have a full pipeline of work
despite the declining market. All of the senior management have come from top
tier backgrounds
and they have instilled these principles into the
business with the same remuneration model of rewarding top performers for their
work and efforts much higher than the industry standard.

They have grown to such a level and want to keep expanding at such a rate that
they can no longer keep maximising their return on winning, pricing and
tendering on projects with their current team.  As such, they require
Civil Estimating Assistant with anywhere between 1
to 4 years’
experience to join their team.

In this position the successful candidate will be pricing and tendering work
with a main area of focus in small to medium sized traditional infrastructure,
including utilities, subdivisions, roads etc.

Successful candidates will be tertiary qualified with a minimum of a year’s
local experience, whilst being in a position to work autonomously when required
and reporting directly to Senior Estimators. An understanding and experience
using Expert Estimation is seen as desirable also but not
essential.

This is a long-term opportunity that will see you reporting
directly to the Estimating & Construction Managers with an EXCELLENT
mentoring
program being offered to young professionals in order to fully
appreciate the company culture and cultivate their experience in order to
become one of the best in the market.

Again, a HIGHLY attractive salary package is on offer which is
negotiable in line with your relevant experience and skill-set.
