About the opportunity

Due to ongoing workload and expansion, they are currently looking for an
ambitious and motivated Senior to Principal level Traffic and Transport
Engineer / Team Leader to join their group in Perth.

The purpose of the role is to provide Traffic and Transport Engineering service
s to a variety of clients whilst also contributing to running and growing the
Transport team by providing mentoring to more junior staff and helping to win
work for the company via tendering and business development.

To be successful for this position, you will ideally have significant experience
in a Traffic and Transport role working for a consulting company in WA, however
individuals who are interested in relocating to Perth are also encouraged to
apply.

You will be capable of project managing small to medium size jobs and providing
a high level of service to company clients The position will report to
Transportation Group Manager, but will be required and able to work fairly
autonomously in a small team.

What you need:

• A relevant Tertiary Degree (such as Civil Engineering or similar)
• Around 10 – 15 years’ experience in Traffic / Transport Engineering
/ roads and Highways projects
• Previous experience in Traffic Impact Assessments / Traffic modelling
and analysis / road safety audits / intersection modelling etc
• The ability to work effectively with clients and contribute to winning work
• Good project management ability
• Previous experience in SIDRA (LinSig would also be highly regarded, but
certainly not essential)
• Any experience in Road safety, public transport projects or transport
economics would also be highly regarded but is not essential
