How to approach a psychiatry patient

There are three ways to
approach a psychiatry patient they include:
1)     Verbal restrained: This is when the
psychiatrist in charge speak to the patient face to face to hear from him or
her alone.
2)     Chemical restrained: This is the use of drug on
the patient by the psychiatrist.
3)     Physical restrained: This is the use of
physical power on the patient.

Diagnosis
To determine/diagnosis and
check for related complications, you may have:
1)     A physical exam: This is done by a medical
doctor or the mental health providers, the doctor will try to rule out physical
problems that could cause the symptoms.
2)     Lab test:These may include, for
example a check of the patient thyroid function or a screening for alcohol and
drugs.
3)     A psychological evaluations: A doctor or mental health
provides talks to the patient about his or her symptoms to the patients feeling
and behaviour patterns.
