- Enjoy
working with a major organisation - Superb
culture within the current teams - Take
the lead in high profile, stimulating projects
Your new
company
Our client is a highly diverse, major organisation operating predominantly
across Australia and New Zealand, but also across global markets. Our client is
a leading company in areas such as construction, maintenance, engineering and
delivering on highly sophisticated, and high-profile infrastructure projects.
Your new role
Due to recent success with the company winning tenders for major contracts,
there is now the need within the Sydney based team for a Senior
Legal/Commercial Manager to identify, manage and advise on key commercial
issues that arise on the contract administration of a significant
infrastructure project in NSW. In this role, you will be involved in the
negotiation, management and administration of all of the supply, service and
consultancy contracts surrounding this high profile infrastructure project. You
will work closely with the commercial, legal, procurement and project teams as
you assist with strategy and forming creative solutions to any of the legal or
contractual issues that arise.
What you’ll
need to succeed
In order to be successful for your application for this role, you will have
come from a similar background overseeing large scale projects such as
transport or infrastructure. You may have had a very strong background in the
legal space, overseeing major project contracts before moving into a commercial
manager role, or you may have come from a purely commercial management role
(where you have worked for around 6-10 years in this space). You will have a
high level of risk management skills and have extensive experience in contract
management practices such as best practice commercial and risk policy and claims
management.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate through their previous roles
that they can drive high-end contract negotiation and administration through
all stages of the project, make assessments on the contract efficiency and
capability, conduct reviews
across the project, and work closely with the commercial team. You will be a
strong leader, a good team-player and a pragmatic problem solver.
What you’ll get
in return
The successful applicant will enjoy working with an excellent in-house
organisation that offers a fun and friendly work environment. You will receive
a generous salary and enjoy the exposure to the operations of a highly
successful business.
