Hays Accounting and Finance Toronto is looking for a Corporate /
Production Accountant for a bustling production company in the heart of
Downtown Toronto. The company produces a whole host of incredible content. With
a number of productions on the go, the Finance Director is looking for an
experienced production accountant with experience doing corporate
accountancy.
As the corporate / production accountant, your primary focus will be on the
corporate accountancy: you will oversee AR and AP, bank reconciliation, Bill
backs, consolidation, audits, helping with year-end and helping with payroll.
That said, you will also assist the production accountants and MUST have a very
strong grasp of production accountancy including tax credits, cash flows, etc.
Production accountancy experience is more important than corporate, and they
are willing to train the right candidate.
As the ideal candidate you will have had at least 3 years production
accountancy experience and have obtained a college or university diploma in more
standard accounting. You will be a go-getter and not be afraid to roll up your
sleeves. You will have a professional attitude and have no trouble travelling
to Toronto. Working knowledge of ACCPAC will be an asset. The salary could go
higher for the ideal candidate.
