urgent requirement for an accomplished Accounts Payable Team Leader to join the
finance team on a permanent basis. Conveniently located in the inner suburbs

The core responsibility of the role is to provide leadership and coaching to a
team of 6 accounts payable officers, ensuring the timely and accurate
processing of invoices while maintaining the highest levels of customer
service. Involving preparing internal reports and monitoring activity levels,
identifying, recommending and implementing improvement strategies, ensuring the
integrity of financial data and compliance, and developing and participating in
team training. In addition this role will involve some hands on accounts payable
duties as required.
You will have prior experience leading team of 5 or more coupled with a
demonstrable hands-on accounts payable processing background. Your proven
record of implementing process improvement strategies and ability to provide
encouragement and assistance to colleagues and team members will ensure your
success in this role. In addition you will have exceptional communication and
interpersonal skills as well as previous ERP system experience. While not
essential to the role applicants holding a degree or other tertiary
qualification in accounting will be highly regarded.
