Hawkesbury District
Health Service (HDHS) is a 125 bed licensed private hospital providing both
private services and public health services to the Hawkesbury Community,
operated by Catholic Health Care.

The Mechanical
Fitter works within the Engineering Department to ensure that the plant,
equipment and buildings are well maintained. You will undertake a wide range of
‘hands on’ tasks as directed by the Engineering Facilities Manager including
scheduled maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment including minor
projects, general repairs to facilities, services & equipment.

You will be required
to work outdoors as needed, in a variety of weather conditions.

Essential
Criteria:

• Mechanical
  Fitter or equivalent Trade Qualification
• Current
  Class C Drivers Licence
• Computer
  skills in a Windows Environment

Desirable
Criteria:

• Restricted
  Electrical Licence
• Elevated
  Work Platform Licence
• Able to
  MIG and TIG weld
• Certificate
  4 in Training and Assessment

Salary: HDHS HSU NSW Non Nursing EA
2014, Fitter $25.6396 per hour. The position requires participation in paid on-
call roster with occasional overtime.
