Graduate/Intermediate Accountant to join their growing yet sizeable team. With
20 partners and a team of 150 staff, this firm is ideally placed to provide you
with exposure to an assorted client base of SME’s to large corporate
organisations across a broad array of industry sectors.
You will have acc
ess to a high level of internal and external training as well
as exciting career opportunities and rewards within the firm. Total CA program
training and support is on offer, including the payment of program costs and
access to partners and senior staff for support.
Main Responsibilities:
• Preparation of tax returns for private companies, trusts and HNWI’s
• Calculation of Capital Gains Tax (CGT), the decline of property and profit or
loss on sales of assets
• The preparation of financial statements for a variety entities in agreement
with national accounting standards
• Experience with the management accounting aspect for clients such as
budgeting, forecasting and analysis of income.
• Providing general tax and business requirements for clients: BAS, GST, PAYG,
and installment calculations
• The preparation and lodgement of various ASIC forms and liaising government
bodies, banks and legal institutions on behalf of clients.
Ideal Candidate:
• 1-3 years work experience in Business Services with a Chartered firm
• Graduate with relevant Bachelors degree
• Have commenced or looking to commence CA studies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly driven, motivated and willingness to learn and develop skills further
