We are currently seeking a Childcare Coordinator to join our team based in WA.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a strong and innovative Centre Coordinator to lead and develop
our program and facilitate the growth of the service.
The role of the Childcare Coordinator is to lead the development,
implementation and evaluation of the daily routines and programs.
You will be required to:
• Assist in the recruitment, selection, orientation, evaluation and ongoing
professional development of educators
• Ensure that, the safety, security and well-being of the children are
protected
• Children are provided with a variety of interactive and stimulating
activities
• Coordinate the professional development offered by Happi Family Day Care
• National Standards including NQF are both met and exceeded
• Effective communication with families of the service
• Assist with the placement of children in the Home Based when required
• The conception and preservation of a warm, friendly and inviting environment
• Guide and strengthen your staff as a leader and role model
What we need:
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work with individual children with particular needs and abilities
• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework
• Sound knowledge of children’s development from 5 – 12 years of age
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Drivers license or willing to obtain within the first 3 months of
commencement
Desirable:
• Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent
• 2 years’ experience in a Centre Coordinating role
• Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
