Starting Annual Salary: $ 22.93

per hour, 35 hours a week

Greenpeace is seeking an experienced and skilled fundraiser to take on
the position of Frontline Door Manager in Sherbrooke, QC. If you are
passionate about Greenpeace, an excellent fundraiser, and love leading
a group of dedicated people this is the job for you.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Recruit, select and hire door-to-door canvass staff. Supervise staff
work, assign tasks, evaluate performance (including discipline and
termination) and motivate canvass teams to excel at their jobs and to
maintain the program’s fundraising standards.
• Manage the canvass training program. Identify and address staff
training needs, including canvassing skills, Greenpeace history and
issues, and Greenpeace structure, especially through briefings.
• Ensure effective territory management strategies, open and test new
areas on a timely basis and maintain positive relations with community
officials.
• Manage documentation related to membership services.
• Report all employment, payroll and financial information on a
regular and timely basis in the database. Ensure Greenpeace policies
and operating guidelines are followed.
• Involve canvass in appropriate campaigns. Develop and maintain the
flow of information between the canvass and campaign staff.
• Regularly canvass as required.
• Other duties as required.

SKILL REQUIRMENTS:
• Experience and success in door-to-door fundraising (canvassing);
• Strong motivational and communication skills;
• Ability to work well, both within a team and independently;
• Sound judgment;
• Organization skills;
• Strong communication skills (written and spoken);
• Computer skills;
• French language is a requirement, fluency in English is an asset;
• Drivers’ License required.

tactics, including the use of peaceful civil disobedience. All
