BACKGROUND
Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an International
Humanitarian and development Non- Governmental Organization in General
Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN
ECOSOC). GNI strives to improve lives, especially children’s lives, through
education, food, community development, medical care, advocacy, and emergency
relief. In order to complete vacant positions, Good Neighbors Rwanda would like
to recruit for the following positions: 1 Operation Department Manager, 2
Social workers of Sponsorship Service Department and 1 Veterinarian. ‘

OPERATION DEPARTMENT MANAGER (KIGALI) (1)
• Key responsibilities include:

To facilitate weekly, monthly and annual meeting with
OD project staffs.

and support the team in need assessment activities.

Action for program expansion in collaboration with OD team members.

• Qualifications
She/he must have strong organizational,
administrative, communicative and interpersonal skills with the ability to work
in a team. Fluent in English, computer literate and good in MS office (Word,
Excel, and Power point), the candidate must have at least 5 years of working
experience in a related field, with a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Social
Sciences, Education or Rural Development.

SOCIAL WORKER (KIGALI/HUYE OFFICE) (2)
• Key responsibilities include:
– To have general understanding and experiencing of
child care and social welfare

• Qualifications
She/he must have AO degree in sociology and other related
field; Fluent in speaking English,’and Kinyarwanda. Diligent and active;

child right, education, social work field, and counseling training with the
ability to respect deadlines.

VETERINARIAN (KIGALI) (1)
Key responsibilities include:

To examine animals to detect and determine the
nature.of diseases or injuries.

medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery

• Qualifications
She/he must hold a bachelor’s degree in veterinary
