BACKGROUND
Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an International
Humanitarian and development Non- Governmental Organization in General
Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN
ECOSOC). GNI strives to improve lives, especially children’s lives, through
education, food, community development, medical care, advocacy, and emergency
relief. In order to complete vacant positions, Good Neighbors Rwanda would like
to recruit for the following position:
VETERINARIAN (KIGALI) (1)
Key responsibilities include:
         
To examine animals to detect and determine the
nature.of diseases or injuries.
         
To treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication,
setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery
         
To inoculate animals against various diseases such as
rabies and distemper.
         
To advise animal owners regarding sanitary measures,
feeding, and general care necessary to promote health of animals.
         
To train and supervise workers who handle and care for
animals 1,
• Qualifications
She/he must hold a bachelor’s degree in veterinary
medicine, level AO; experienced at least 2 years in veterinary profession with
the ability to work under field conditions in a remote area. Fluent in English,
She/he must also hold a valid driving license Class A and B with good in MS
office.
The interested candidate must submit an application
letter addressed to Country Director of Good Neighbors Rwanda, accompanied by
recent and detailed curriculum vitae, a copy of degree certificate and of past
work certificate in related field at KIMIHURURA, near Lemigo Hotel on Friday
24′ July, 2015 by 4:00 pm.
The C.V. must be written within 2 cedes in English.
Otherwise the application will be disqualified. The Relevant  experience will only be considered if the
certificate is  presented at submission
and Candidates must not be in  employment
elsewhere when accepting the job offer,
