Goa Education Trust (GET) announces GET Scholarship for Goans to study in UK
GET Scholarship 2012 is granted to Goans pursue to post graduate courses in UK

Goa Education Trust (GET) has been established by the industrious Dempo and Fomento groups from Goa. GET aims to offer financial assistance to Goan students to pursue higher studies in different disciplines in UK.
The Goa Education Trust (GET) provides scholarship and research fellowships to eligible students of Goan origin or holding Goan domicile to pursue post graduate courses in Universities of UK.
The GET scholarship is offered for all the disciplines and fields of study. Students can receive GET scholarship for various subjects like Law, Education, Ancient History, Journalism, etc.
The GET scholarship covers full or part tuition fees for studying in UK. Students have to bear all the other expenses.
Goa Education Trust (GET) invites applications from Goan students for GET Scholarship 2012 to pursue post graduate courses from Universities, Colleges and Institutes in UK for academic session starting in September 2012.
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of application forms filled for the GET scholarship and personal interview conducted in Goa.
Eligibility for GET Scholarship 2012
• You should be an Indian citizen with a valid Indian passport and residing in India at the time of applying for the scholarship
• You should be resident in Goa or born of Goan parents
• You should not be more than 30 years old at the time of applying for the scholarship
• You should be a graduate
• You should have an excellent academic track record and extra – curricular achievements
• You should have confirmed admission for any academic course of study in the UK for up to one year
Application Procedure for GET Scholarship 2012
• You can apply for GET scholarship on official website of British Council of India (http://www.britishcouncil.org/india.htm).
• You need to register using the email ID that you most frequently use, as all correspondence related to the GET scholarships will be done on the email id you have registered.
• You can edit your GET Scholarship 2012 application form as many times as required before you submit it. However, once you click on ‘Submit’ you will no longer be able to make any further changes to your GET Scholarship 2012 application form.
• On submitting the GET Scholarship 2012 application form, you will receive an acknowledgement message along with a unique identification number.
• In addition to the GET Scholarship 2012 online application, you are required to courier or post following documents:
1. Two hard copies of Reference Letters (one academic and one professional reference letter)
2. Copy of your offer or admission letter from the UK University
