Global AIDS Interfaith Alliance (GAIA) is an NGO the provides primary health
care services targeting prevention, care and support in communities affected by
HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria, GAIA works in collaboration with the District Health
Offices of the Ministry of Health thr
ough the GAIA Mobile Health Clinic program
to increase access to health services in high need and under-served rural
areas, GAIA provides support for PLHIV, orphans and underprivileged children at
a community level, and it promotes retention of staff in the public sector
health workforce through provision of the GAIA Nursing Scholarship
GAIA is recruiting a professional with strong technical and managerial skills
for its programs, The Program Manager is overall responsible for providing
operations and programmatic support
In collaboration with the Country Director provide strategic direction and
identify potential expansion areas within the country, Collaborate with key
stakeholders and other partners, Provide support for implementation of
strategic plan for all the programs, Work in close partnership with the
organisation’s Head Quarters based team and relevant stakeholders to improve
the quality of GAIA programs, Oversee the annual work planning of the program
activities, Collaborate with M&E officers and other staff to strengthen
monitoring and evaluation processes for the programs, Produce reports as
required, Other project duties as assigned
Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, Power Point, Ability to travel within and
outside work station, Proven ability to prioritise multiple tasks, assignments
and projects, A strong and cooperative team player with ability to interface
with staff, internal and external clients, Ability to build networks and create
partnership, Excellent oral and written communication skills, Strong
organization an deplaning skills, Motivated and passionate about the vision,
mission and values of GAIA, MPH, MSC in Nursing/any health elated plus minimum
of 5 yrs of proven experience in implementing public health program in Malawi
at a Senior managerial position
