international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development with worldwide

GIZ has worked in
Rwanda for over 30 years. The primary objectives between the Government of
Rwanda and the Federal Republic of Germany are poverty reduction and promotion
of sustainable development. To achieve these objectives, GIZ Rwanda is active
in the sectors of Decentralization and Good Governance, Economic Development
and Employment Promotion and Energy.

Economy and Employment Promotion we are searching for a Senior Employment Expert
.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Supporting
the further development of the Labor Market Information System (LMIS) - Elaborating
strategic and operational documents on labour market issues - Supporting
Stakeholders in the process of coordinated implementation and monitoring
of the National Employment Program (NEP), including support to the
coordination of the Technical Working Group Productivity and Youth
Employment - Contributing
to Eco Emploi monitoring, communication and report writing
All activities will
be implemented in close cooperation with the Rwandan Partner Institutions
Qualifications
and Competencies
- Master
degree in economy related areas with focus on employment issues - At
least 8 years working experience in the area of Employment Promotion and 3
years in the areas of LMIS, active labour market interventions and labour
market indicators measurement - Good
working experience in applied research and concept development - Strong
analytical and communication skills and facility on document writing - Good
working experience in coordination of stakeholders and moderations skills - Excellent
knowledge of the Rwandan Labor Market, its institutions and interventions
as well as Labour Market main indicators and their measurement - Good
knowledge of the Rwandan economy and the Rwandan private sector as well as
of the Rwandan Skills Development System - Good
knowledge in the field of international cooperation - Very
good working knowledge of ICT, particularly of WORD, EXCEL, Power Point,
Outlook. Knowledge in statistical software (Stata or SPSS) is an asset
Fluent written and oral knowledge of English, Kinyarwanda and French
